  Absolutely brilliant. Just left. n me my wife our dog n daughter really enjoyed the local ambiance of friendly gaffer. Food was top draw. Fresh prawns n salmon. I had bacon n blackpudding . Plus they had the rugby on n Ireland wer winning. Overall a top bollox experience. Well done The Greyhound . Take a bow.

  Feeling quite hungry on a journey back from the south coast i 1st popped into the Red Lion pub which was advertising food until 2pm. This was not the case so i wandered into the Greyhound after 2 min of waiting for the staff to finish chatting to the locals i ordered a ploughmans which was advertised as coming with mixed pickles freshly baked baquette mixed salad & home baked /carved ham.After 20min while the staff tucked into thier lunches i began to wonder if "A" i had become invisible or "B" they were actually baking the ham. When it finally arrived i had 4 small triangles of what looked like lidls bread 1 pickled onion in its own pot which could have bought in a fish shop, a pot of branston pickle & what looked like some bagged salad, the ham was thick but fairly tasteless.Total cost i would estimate less than a quid, staff & friends cotinued to munch on other goodies from the kitchen presumably paid for by the likes of passers-by like myself
  I left still feeling hungry.The "meal" would have kept a Ploughman going for about 10 min.Avoid this place until they get their act together!!!

  good food and got well and truly bladdered on the fine selection of palmers real ale come here every summer lovley staff FANTASTIC !!!!!
